What to say? Fuji is enormously talented at both humor and angst. Her funny stuff is really funny; her sad stuff is really sad, and her spicy stuff is really really spicy. We've enjoyed almost every single story of hers that we've gotten translated, from her one-page shorts to her 140 page epic 'Towa no Toki.'

Of course, there are lots of Fuji stories on the site already. She's responsible for 'Lively Little Hiei-chan' as well as many of the YYH Fairy Tales we've put up. So why does she get still another section of her own? Simple. There were many wonderful stories that didn't fit into any of the previous categories, and we just couldn't bear to leave any of them out. :-P

So here it is, the Fuji Shinichi Miscellaneous section, which will be home to the very naughty 'Kurama and Hiei Love Love Coloring Book,' (edited for the General Side, of course) the very serious 'Ice Desert' and 'Snow Falling on Water,' and to a number of very funny Fuji shorts.

Let's Stay Together, ne? by Fuji Shinichi
	Funny. sweet, kawaii. 12 pages A teaser from Fuji's professional works. This is a side story in the wonderful series about Gaten Shouichi Nosuke (or just Suke) the black cat and his human Sei-chan. Suke has been given human form by a kindly fairy, but he's still a cat at heart. In this heartbreaking short Suke remembers the hardships of his early life and how he first met Sei-chan. 	Funny. kawaii. 2 pages Hiei comes to Kurama with a problem: his trademark white scarf is torn. Trust Kurama to fix it...his way. Typical Fuji adorableness. Translated by W-san.

The True Prospect by Fuji Shinichi
	Kurama X Hiei; funny, sweet, spicy. 9 pages Alas! Kurama is brooding again. He has a seemingly insoluble problem and, like Hamlet, he wanders around and talks to himself about it a lot. The problem? Because of the difference in height between him and Hiei, they can't...well, maybe you'd better read about it. ^_^ Translated by M.J. Johnson. SPICY Although one panel in this story has been censored, it is still rated an extremely strong R. Do not read this if you are under 18.

Snow Falling on Water by Fuji Shinichi
	Kurama X Hiei; ansty, sweet, spicy, just good! 34 pages Kurama gets the urge to check on Hiei--how's he doing over there with Mukuro anyway?--and to his shock finds him in a regeneration tank. Hiei seems to have lost the will to survive, and Shigure implies that it's Kurama's fault. "He's a creature who, once fulfilled, can no longer go on living." So what can Kurama do to keep Hiei from dying? Well, if tears don't work, try something else.... A vintage Fuji story: somewhat harrowing but definitely worth it. Translated by W-san. Hiei & Kurama Love Coloring Book by Fuji Shinichi
	Kurama X Hiei; funny, spicy. 27 pages It's actually more of an activity book, beginning with the true story of how Kurama and Hiei met, and going on to fun mazes, matching games, and 'What's Wrong With This Picture' puzzles. All yaoi, of course. We snickered from beginning to end. Translated by M.J. Johnson. SPICY Rated R for pictures and implications. Note: This story has been edited for the general side. Two pictures have been omitted and small bits of three others have been removed. (Again, we don't do this lightly. This is our first attempt at making pictures conform to general side standards. We decided to try with the coloring book because it met our requirements: it's so good that we hated to leave it out, and it's quite understandable without the spicy pics.)

Hiei-chan at McDonald's by Fuji Shinichi
	Kurama X Hiei; funny, spicy. 4 pages Note: this is not Lively Little Hiei-chan. It's an earlier character who is called 'chan' only by the author. We just need to make that clear from the start. ^_^ In this story Hiei learns how to deal with a straw: you just put your lips together and suck. Ahem! Translated by W-san.

	Funny. 5 pages The real title of this story is 'Hiei-chan at the Sentou (Bath),' but we just couldn't resist. This time Hiei learns how humans wash themselves...not. Very funny. Translated by W-san.
